Welcome to Terrapin Farms!

We are a family farm growing on 34 acres in Washington state. In Kitsap County we enjoy the marine climate that is quite suitable to the fabulous salad fixings, berries, and other cool weather crops we love to grow, and eat! Our farm in Toppenish takes advantage of the Yakima Valley heat to cultivate a cornacopia of fresh fruits and vegetables. Using natural, organic growing practices and a combination of row crops, raised beds, orchards, and greenhouses, we produce fresh, delicious, seasonal fruits and vegetables for our Kitsap County Farmer's Market booths and roadside Farm Stand in Port Gamble. Come check us out!

Welcome to the 2012 Season - It's Planting Time!

We have a wide variety of vegetable starts available for you to begin your own food garden - from broccoli, cauliflower, and cucumbers to lettuce, peppers, and tomatoes... all ready for a new home! Look for our pre-planted salad bowls with a selection of lettuce you can pick from for your own nightly super fresh salad concoction. With our herb bowls you pluck exactly what you need when you need it. Our strawberry bowls and hanging baskets, full of day-neutral varieties, are quite a treat once the berries are ready to eat. If you're interested in decorative plants, then take a gander at our fushia's and sedums!

If growing it yourself is not your thing, let us serve you our fresh picked and ready-to-go produce at our roadside Farm Stand in Port Gamble, or at one of our booths at most of the Farmer's Market's in Kitsap County. Grab a pre-packed bag of salad lettuce mix, scallions, radishes, and whatever else you fancy in an early season salad. We grow almost everything we figure anyone would want in a salad... If we're missing your favorite ingredient, let us know! Our first of the season produce includes head lettuces, radishes, spinach, garlic, onions, herbs, asparagus, rhubarb, potatoes...
